Low refrigerant gas
The most frequent cause is low refrigerant. Over time small leaks reduce the gas level, so the cooling tank can no longer chill the water. A technician will check for leaks, repair them and refill the gas to the correct level.
A faulty compressor
The compressor is the heart of the cooling system. If it is failing or not starting, you will often hear unusual humming or clicking. In many cases it can be repaired or its relay replaced rather than swapping the whole unit.
Blocked airflow or a dirty condenser
Dust on the condenser coils at the back traps heat and reduces cooling. A simple clean can restore performance — and it is included in our service visits.
Thermostat problems
A faulty thermostat may stop the cooling cycle from running. Replacing this inexpensive part often brings the cold water straight back.
