If your cooler runs but the water is only mildly cool, the refrigerant gas may be low. Here is what gas refilling involves and when it is needed.
What is refrigerant gas?
Compressor-based dispensers use a small amount of refrigerant to chill the water tank. It circulates in a sealed loop, so you should never need to top it up unless there is a leak.
Why it runs low
Tiny leaks at joints or in the coil let gas escape slowly over the years. Once the level drops, cooling weakens even though the unit still powers on.
Our process
We locate and seal any leak first, then recharge the system with the correct refrigerant and test the cooling — so the fix lasts rather than leaking out again in weeks.
